The Florida Aviation Network (FAN) is broadcasting this popular one-hour aviation safety talk show that is recorded "Live". All aspects of aviation could be discussed in our two sessions today; however, in Session 2, we plan to emphasize the often-overlooked aviation maintenance side of things. Make time to view and enjoy "Plane Time" - It might even save your life. Watch with a friend! Special guest for Session 2 is Arnold Holmes, an FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative, or DAR. A "DAR" is an individual appointed in accordance with 14 CFR §183.33 who may perform examination, inspection, and testing services necessary to the issuance of aircraft certificates.
