Brief Description:

About this Presentation

Every Beech Pilot’s Operating Handbook includes a long list of Emergency Procedures checklists, each with multiple steps and additional warnings, cautions and notes. The sheer volume of information makes studying and remembering what to do in an emergency a difficult and daunting task. There are many commonalities among the emergency checklists, that make it far easier to remember them. This program will cover:

  • The difference between emergency and abnormal conditions
  • How to evaluate emergency checklists to determine which items must be memorized
  • Common elements of multiple emergency checklists
  • Substantially reducing what you need to recall from memory
  • A technique for learning and refreshing emergency memory items
  • Answers to member questions

Viewers will be able to type in their questions to be answered during the event. We’ll explain how to do so at the beginning of the webinar. This program is recognized for ABS AVIATOR and FAA WINGS credit.

Although this American Bonanza Society program is oriented toward pilots of Beech Bonanzas, Debonairs, Barons and Travel Airs, the discussion, techniques and procedures described are valuable to the pilot of any airplane.
