Brief Description:

The purpose of this presentation is to give a brief overview of the FAA’s Small Unmanned Aerial Systems(UAS) program. Participants will be introduced to the types of drones, examples of their uses, the four categories of drone fliers and FAA requirements for Recreational and Commercial Drone Operations and Licenses. Examples of software available to pilots will be discussed and links will be shared. Two typical examples of quad copters will be available for inspection and discussion.
