Date and Time:
Wednesday, February 9, 2022, starting at 19:00 Central Standard Time (17:00 PST; 18:00 MST; 20:00 EST; 15:00 HST; 16:00 AKST; 18:00 Arizona; Thursday, February 10, 2022 01:00 GMT)

Brief Description:

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if pilots committed themselves to continuous learning and routine proficiency training through their entire flying career? With such a long-term commitment, we would no doubt find much safer pilots and greatly reduced accident rates in General Aviation.

Jason Blair, experienced CFI and DPE, will share some best practices for enrolling student pilots in the WINGS program, how best to use the WINGS program offerings to enhance & further student training, and sharing methods of validating credits for students & certificated pilots to earn phases of WINGS.  He will also discuss how using these offerings early in a student pilot’s training can instill a safety mindset and develop an awareness of tools to enhance a pilot’s knowledge, skill, risk management, and overall proficiency.

WINGS INDUSTRY NETWORK - SPONSOR

The WINGS Industry Network's vision is to reduce the general aviation accident rate through participation in the FAA Safety Team WINGS Pilot Proficiency Program. Its mission is to network with aviation industry members and the FAA Safety Team to enhance aviation safety for the pilot and aviation maintenance technician.

INSIGHTS is a LIVE! FAA WINGS/AMT Credit broadcast to highlight the outstanding work of Industry Members that contribute to a safer aviation environment.

WINGS $WEEPSTAKE$

The WINGS Sweepstakes mission is to reduce the nation's accident and incident rate by increasing pilot participation in the WINGS FAASTeam Pilot Proficiency Program.

The WINGS program has courses based on real world accident and incident causes so flight instructors, pilots and student pilots get training that can truly make a difference.  Studies indicate that pilots who complete WINGS phases are safer aviators.
