We will discuss aircraft Accidents and what responders should know before and after they enter the accident scene.

Brief Description:

Unlike an auto accident, aircraft accidents can cover 100s of feet even miles depending the severity of the incident before impact.  We will discuss the hazards associated with these types of accidents.  Fuel, debris, rockets, chemicals, and many others critical hazards to working with rescue operations.  We will cover various accidents and incidents that you may be confronted with as a first responder.

We will also be using a AG aircraft simulator for the Rescue crews to practice extrications from an aircraft at various angles.

Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, Ambulance Responders, airman, and those working on or close to an airport are welcome.
