Brief Description:

Proper communication and situational awareness are two key safety factors in every flight. This presentation will cover VFR Arrivals to the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, the risks, and risk mitigation strategies.  In addition, there will be a discussion about the arrival procedures with members of the Sarasota Air Traffic Control Tower.

From the north:  I-75 South and take Exit 213, University Parkway west. At US 41, Tamiami Trail, turn right (north) and at the next traffic light, turn right on General Spaatz Boulevard.  In approximately .2 miles, turn left on Airport Auditorium Lane; the McClure Auditorium will be on your right.

From the south:  I-75 North and take Exit 213, University Parkway west. At US 41, Tamiami Trail, turn right (north) and at the next traffic light, turn right on General Spaatz Boulevard.  In approximately .2 miles, turn left on Airport Auditorium Lane; the McClure Auditorium will be on your right.
