maintenance hangar, which is located just west of the Vero Beach Regional Airport

Main Terminal Bldg. Please note that Skyborne Airline Academy is the new name

of the former FlightSafety Academy facility. Enter through the west side of the

hangar, meeting is in Classroom M. Plenty of parking for cars and aircraft. For

those of you flying in, park by the C.J. Cannon's restaurant at main terminal and

walk west 100 yards.

Dan joined Piper Aircraft in 2017 and is in New Aircraft Sales – Latin America & Worldwide Special Missions Business Development.  He has prior experience with competing OEM’s in the full product range from props to jets.  A MBA from Nova Southeastern University, and a BA from University of Utah, he is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.  

Dan is Trainer, Coach, Mentor and holds a Commercial Pilot certificate, single and multi-engine land, with instrument rating. 

Kelly is a Sr. Manager and ODA-UM – Avionic, Electrical and Software Engineering for Piper Aircraft.  16 years of aviation experience including being the technical lead for the first certified General Aviation Emergency Autoland System.  Her time at Piper, she has led the avionics, electrical and software team to certify more than 20 different products, with her team responsible for full product life cycle of the products.

Kelly is a member of the Piper Community Outreach Committee, Captain for the Piper Wings for a Cure Making Strides team, personally raising over $50k for Making Strides and Relay for Life.  Member of the Junior League of Indian River, Treasure of the Vero Beach Air Show and President of the Women in Aviation Treasure Coast Pearls Chapter.
