Keeping on top of the game.

The practice of simulated engine failures builds situational awareness ten-fold.  Since the helicopter can set down just about anywhere and may be flying relatively low, practice of simulated engine failures and an eye for enough room to safely land the aircraft is a must.

The maneuverability of the helicopter gains it the ability to land in tight areas. This makes it a practical aircraft for use by medevac, rescue operations, recreation companies, and industry.  Maneuvering into these small areas is especially useful in our mountainous terrain.

Both of these aircraft operations require extra skill and vigilance.  Practice needs to be on a continuous basis for all pilots.

This seminar is not only for helicopter pilots, but to give other pilots an understanding of operations and why maneuvers are planned a particular way.

There will be time for discussion with these experienced instructors.  Handouts will also be available.
