Key Note Speaker

LT. COLONEL Todd Beer (Ret) Lt Col (Ret) Todd Beer flew Air Force One for seven years during the Clinton and George W. Bush administrations. He was one of the pilots flying Air Force One during the attacks on September 11 and flew many other memorable missions during his tenure.

Todd never had any intention of flying as he arrived for Basic Training at the Air Force Academy. The Academy had fulfilled his childhood dream of playing Division I college basketball but surviving a small plane crash as a teen resulted in a fear of flying. One thing led to another and he began Undergraduate Pilot Training in June 1987. Following several assignments and Operation Desert Storm, Todd was assigned to the VIP Transport Wing at Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington, D.C.

While flying the DC-9 at Andrews, he flew President Clinton on numerous trips. His recollections and observations from this time provide an insider’s perspective of President Clinton, his family, and staff.

Flying President Bush around the country on September 11, the President’s surprise visit to Baghdad, and an inflight bomb threat to Air Force One are just a few of the compelling stories from the Bush Administration.

Todd’s distinguished career in the Air Force spanned over 20 years. This captivating storyteller’s first-hand accounts of the historic events of our time keep listeners on the edge of their seats.

Great Door Prizes, Silent Auction, and some good old fashioned fun! Door prizes from last year included Sim Time in a Regional Jet and much more...You have to be there to win!
