Title:
The Good The Correct and WHY CANT I DO IT
Topic:
Discussion on Aircraft Painting, Owner Performed Maint. and Required Maint.Records. If time allows - Annual Insp.
Date and Time:
Saturday, January 16, 2021, starting at 11:00 Eastern Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Andrew Crossman
Brief Description:

Many, if not most, aircraft owners want to save as much money as possible on storage, fuel, upgrades, and maintenance costs.

One way to do that is by performing some of the maintenance on our own aircraft ourselves. But What Can we legally do and how do we record that owner maintenance in the aircraft records?

What about that new paint job? What is legally required of the paint shop and how do we, as pilots, owners, and consumers, know if the work was recorded properly?

As PIC, we are responsible for ensuring that the work accomplished on the aircraft was recorded properly.

Remember, the lives of those that ride in our planes, as well as those on the ground, could be at risk from questionable maintenance practices.

All pilots, CFIs, aircraft owners, partners and Flying Club members that use KPCM are encouraged to attend this informative seminar.
