From Hwy 36, get off at the Broomfield exit and turn left (South) onto Wadsworth Blvd. From Wadsworth, turn right (West) onto 120th Ave. and then left (South) on Airport Way. Proceed to the parking lot at the end of the street. The seminar will be held in the main terminal building in the Mount Evans Room on the second floor.

A free "Wings" seminar on communications with the tower, what the expectations are and how to prevent communications errors.  There will also be a discussion on runway separation, basic Jeffco operations and changes at Jeffco that affect ground movement.

Bring your questions and concerns for discussion.  More use of the airspace means more familiarity and more comfort in using it safely and effectively.

ATC is a service for the airmen.  Knowledgeable and professional interaction and full utilization of our airspace is a goal.

John Middleton has a wide and varied background in aviation. He has been a controller for 21 years. He has spent 14 years in the Center and Approach Control and the last 7 years at Jeffco.  John has a Private Pilot Certificate and an A & P Certificate.
