Brief Description:

At this exclusive event we will be covering Search Procedures as well as Mountain Flying safety, aircraft performance, emergency procedures, mountain weather/winds and there effect on aircraft performance., and survival skills.  After completion of ground school, each CAP Pilot will fly with a Mountain Fury certified CAP training pilot to perform actual search flights in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.

Directions to Venue:

CAP 4 hours of Online ground training for Mountain Fury will be conducted by Asheville personnel using North Carolina Wing, CAP MS Teams on August 10 and 11, 2020  from 7PM to 9:30PM EST.

All flight training will be conducted at the Asheville CAP Squadron Headquarters Building,120 Wright Brothers Way from August 12 thru September 30, 2020 with flights originating and recovering at KAVL.
