Many of us regularly fly with another non-pilot. Others regularly fly with business associates, family members, or friends who are not pilots. Some non-pilots fly with you because they enjoy it, but many are uncomfortable with flying to some degree or another.  A Pinch Hitter course explains why the pilot or aircraft is doing something.  Another important benefit of a Pinch Hitter course is that it nearly always allays the non-pilot's fears, spoken or unspoken, about flying.

The Free Pinch Hitter course includes an informative ground school.  We recommend adding the flight portion to your Pinch Hitter ground course training immediately following the ground portion.  During the actual flight portions, the flying companion will practice and learn climbs, descents, turns, traffic pattern entries, landings, use of GPS, use of radios and more in a real helicopter or simulator.

We have 2 highly experienced Instructors who will be available for the flight portion.   Signing up for the flight portion requires a reservation.

For the pilots out there, your flying companion can be a tremendous asset. With training they can make your flying safer, easier and more enjoyable. It's great to have some knowledgeable assistance when you need it. With a little effort on your part, your companion can take over some of your routine jobs and you can better concentrate on flying. It's also great to have someone able to understand and double check what you're doing. In the event of an emergency, wouldn't it be nice to have someone in the right seat, who can help, rather than panic?
