Aerotowing is the most common launch method in the US and we do it often. Sometimes we do it poorly, with horrific consequences. This is a perspective from a glider CFI who is also a towpilot -- on the common errors and misconceptions about aerotowing. We will offer some myth busting on the business of following the towpilot to begin a rewarding soaring flight.
