Title:
Drones and Airspace - The Modern Sky
Topic:
An Introduction to Drones and Airspace for Recreational Flyers and the General Public
Date and Time:
Thursday, June 25, 2026, starting at 19:00 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Carol Harris, Daniel Lucia
Brief Description:

We all love the freedom of getting a drone up in the air to capture an amazing shot or test out a new build. But the moment those props spin up, you become a pilot in the eyes of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Airspace rules can feel overwhelming with all the different letters and regulations, but mastering the basics is the best way to avoid massive fines and fly hassle-free. In this presentation, we will discuss what you actually need to know about operating your drone and the rules in the sky above you before your next takeoff!
