Title:
Foreflight and ADS-B in the Cockpit
Topic:
Use of Foreflight and Stratus with the iPad or iPhone
Date and Time:
Saturday, August 18, 2012, starting at 09:00 Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Dan Telfair, Angel Flight SC Pilot and past NM Wing Leader
Brief Description:

This session will review use of Foreflight software on an iPad, for flight planning and in flight.  If you are considering getting set up with a Foreflight system on an iPad or iPhone, this session will provide support to make your selections. New Foreflight users will find this to be a good "quick start" review of key features and capabilities through a practical demo by enthusiastic user, Dan Telfair. For those already using Foreflight, but not Stratus, you'll be able to try it out!

Topics included are available hardware and software, GPS, battery backup, and other accessories, discussion of Stratus vs. XM weather systems, and recommended iPad settings.

If you already have an iPad with Foreflight, bring it! IMPORTANT: Make sure you have the latest Foreflight software revision downloaded, required to receive Stratus data.
