Directions to Venue:
Pan Am Academy is at Phoenix Deer Valley Airport, on the east side of the terminal and just south of Cutter Aviation. We will conduct the seminar in the south building classroom.
Phoenix Deer Valley Airport is on Deer Valley Road at 7th Avenue.
Parking is available in the terminal parking lot
Fly-ins welcome, tie down at the transient ramp in front of the terminal and proceed to Pan Am.

The event will be held beginning at 1000 (L) on Saturday, 22 March 2008 at Phoenix Deer Valley Airport. Safety topics will include a presentation by the FAA'S PHX Air Traffic Organization staff on the newly redesigned PHX Class Bravo Airspace and a presentation by USAF's Luke AFB Flight Safety and Airspace Management staff.
The Class B presentation will provide an overview of the airspace configuration, redesign changes, and areas of concern or caution. The military air safety presentation will focus military airspace issues, military operations areas (MOAs), military/civil aircraft compatibility and safe operations, and upcoming issues or hazards associated with military flight operations.
We will also provide an overview of recent changes to the FAA's WINGs program now named the Pilot Proficiency Program. The new program is internet based and a briefing on using the FAA Safety website will be provided.
