Each month, the National FAASTeam office develops a "Topic Of The Month". The FPMs and REPs are requested to pass this information during presentations or during other training events. This month's topic is "Flight After A Period Of Inactivity". PowerPoint presentations with notes are available if you need them.
"Returning to flight operations after a periof of inactivity has resulted in loss of control accidents. Depending on how long it is has been since the pilot last flew, they may be unaware of some changes that could make the prospect of returning to flight less overwhelming." The files link provides some scenarios that might apply.
