SUBJECT: VFR PRACTICE INSTRUMENT APPROACH PROCEDURES

Miami Approach Control will provide standard separation for aircraft conducting practice instrument approaches at those airports within the approach control area. This is a continuing service and this letter is being re-issued for your Information.
VFR Practice Instrument Approaches are available at the following airports:

Aircraft requesting practice Instrument approaches to any of those airports listed above should contact
Miami Approach Control on the appropriate frequency.
Aircraft requesting a procedure turn or a holding pattern for training purposes should make that request on Initial contact with Miami Approach Control.
Clearance for a practice Instrument approach does not authorize aircraft to fly the published missed approach procedure unless specifically authorized by air traffic control.
