On July 25, 2017 at 5pm CDT, NAFI leaders will discuss the content of Mark Ward's presentation and offer comments and insights for CFIs and the aviation industry in general. This presentation provides information on the factors behind General Aviation's involvement with runway incursions. Available data points to a lack of training, awareness, and knowledge of airport and runway operations.


The FAA's Air Traffic Organization Safety Service Unit has asked for scenarios prepared as training tools for CFI/Flight schools. This presentation introduces those tools, which will soon be distributed by FAASTeam.
Recognizing the importance of excellence in education, this course will provide WINGS credits to those who pass an after event quiz on FAASafety.gov. The LIVE program will archived at FAASTeamTV.com and available on FAASTeam.gov for those not able to attend the LIVE broadcast.
