Brief Description:
Summer time is here and we all want to fly into the mountain strips and go camping.  This seminar is a Mountain Flying Skills Refresher to help you understand the ups & downs of mountain flying, best practices and good techniques to help you stay out of the trees and rocks (which are normally associated with mountains).  Short grass or rocky strips, high altitudes, density altitudes, barriers to approaches and takeoffs, wind shear and all of the other "gotchas" that can get you!

Remember... we eat the food first and then our local Mountain Flying Instructors will give a refresher course on Mountain Flying in North Idaho and discuss some of the local airstrips and fun places to fly and how to get there and home again safely.  The safety seminar will start at approximately 1830 hours.  My momma always said, "safety works best on a full tummy!"
