Session 1 - First will be a fun-filled session in which Jason T. Archer will take some of the mystery and myth out of the basic principles of flight.  This interactive program will explore our basic understanding of the science behind the aerodynamics you have been taught.  Learn how to make some of the more complicated flight principles easy to understand and gain a fresh perspective on how airplanes fly.  Interesting for all pilots, their families and a must-see for those who educate and wish to inspire others to take to take to the skies!

Rep. Jason T. Archer is a museum & education professional with more than 15 years of experience in aviation museums, planetariums, science and formal education facilities.  He holds a commercial pilot certificate with instrument rating and tailwheel endorsements.

Session 2 - Ever want to visit Australia? Maybe even fly while you’re there?  Learn what is involved to prepare, navigate and communicate in the Land Down Under.  And once that is done, see where you can go and how to get there.  We’ll take a look at charts, flight planning, survival gear, and much more.

Linda M. Cioffi began flying in 1995.  She holds a commercial pilot certificate (land and sea) with instrument rating.  She has also achieved a flight instructor certificate and is currently an independent instructor.  She considers herself an adventure pilot and enjoys exploring the world by air.
