The following experts will be featured speakers:

Lon Wimberley

Founder and CEO/Chief Instructor at Helicopter Safety Training, LLC (HST) 
Helicopter Safety Training, LLC, works with its customers at their location conducting both Transition & Refresher Flight and Ground training in all Bell Helicopter models.  HST specializes in single and multi-engine training. Autorotation’s are conducted to the ground in single engine aircraft and some twin engine models.  

Retired from Bell Helicopter in March, 2011, as a Master Instructor.  Flight experience at Bell Helicopter includes Production Pilot for 2 1/2 years and Experimental Test Pilot for 6 1/2 years. Flight Instructor in the Bell Training Academy for 23 years including 2 1/2 years as a ground school instructor.  Honorable discharge from the U.S. Army after serving three years as both an infantry small unit commander and a helicopter pilot. Attained the rank of Captain.

Paul Schaaf
Vice President, Operations, Helicopter Association International (HAI) 
Paul directs and oversees HAI's Safety, International Affairs, Regulations, Education, Technical Services, and Flight Operations Departments. 

Prior to his position at HAI Paul managed an accident and incident free Fairfax County Police Department Helicopter Division Operations for 17+ years and developed safety, instrument proficiency, and night vision goggle programs. 

Paul holds airplane and helicopter ATP ratings with more than 6,500 hours of accident and incident free operational experience in helicopter EMS, law enforcement, and helicopter and airplane corporate aviation.  Paul is also a helicopter Certified Flight Instructor (Instrument).  His favorite helicopter is the Bell 407.
