Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):

The FAA's Safety Program will soon be taking on a new look. It is much more than a name change from Aviation Safety Program to FAASafety Team (FAASTeam).

As part of the change, the FAA Pilot Proficiency Award Program is being re-empahsized to help reduce the overall GA accident rate.

Your participation in the program (WINGS) starts you on the road to becoming a more proficient and safer pilot by receiving annual recurrent training. You will be able to attend safety seminars dealing with both pilot operational topics and aircraft maintenance items.

Additionally, you can receive a courtesy aircrfaft maintenance inspection from an FAA safety inspector without fear of reprisal.

A partial list of speakers include: John Black, SPM Spokane FSDO John Phillips, Airworthiness Inspector, Spokane FSDO Neil Stone, Aviation Safety Counselor, IA, A&P, retired Eastern Airline Captain Leonard Krueger, Aviation Safety Counselor, AG Pilot, Flight Instructor
