We are excited to invite you to the Rochester Safety Stand Down 2014 event! In attendance will be hundreds of pilots, crews, Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMTs), repairmen, aviation business owners, dealer representatives, and many more active members of the General Aviation Industry.

This year’s event will be held in the US Airports luxurious corporate hangar facilities located on Scottsville Road at the Greater Rochester International Airport (KROC) on Saturday June 14. The coordinators of the Rochester Safety Stand Down 2014 event are energized by our new focus this year: to improve the level of safety in aviation maintenance and operations! Recurrent training is essential to continued safe aviation operations and the Safety Stand Down event is dedicated to reducing risk to pilots, passengers and aircraft maintainers. Don't miss this opportunity to be a safer airman!

The Safety Stand Down features a daylong event to qualify for Inspection Authorization (IA) renewal. IA’s, AMTs, repairmen, owners, and pilots will find great value in these aircraft maintenance seminars as well as the time to come together and collaborate as a community.

Running concurrent to the IA Refresher Course will be multiple safety seminars for pilots. Topics include Decision Making, Preventing Loss of Control Accidents, Preventative Maintenance, Avoiding Fuel Related Accidents, FAA Air Traffic and guided bus tours of runways and taxiways. Several aircraft dealers and vendors will be showcasing new aircraft technology and equipment.
