Title:
Flying The San Francisco Bay Tour
Topic:
How to safely fly the San Francisco Bay Tour.
Date and Time:
Wednesday, April 9, 2014, starting at 19:30 Pacific Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Max Trescott, CFII
Brief Description:
Flying the Bay Tour is fun, but it makes sense to plan ahead before your launch on your tour. There are many considerations, including the routes and altitudes to be flown, ATC communications, required clearances, and weather issues. You'll always want to consider in advance any alternatives, in case you're unable to execute your original plan. There's been at least one fatal accident that occurred while flying a S.F. Bay Tour, and you'll learn the details of what went wrong on that flight. The seminar also shows photographs of major landmarks on tour and provides a brief history of some of them that you can share with your passengers when you fly the tour.
