If you're a pilot, CFI or aviation enthusiast, this announcement is specifically intended for you!  At this exclusive briefing several BGM Air Traffic Controllers will make presentations on Airspace, Rules / Regulations and new operations.  After their presentations, they will be opening up the forum for questions / suggestions / stories.  Our goal is to hear what pilots have to say in an effort to increase safety and create a better understanding of both sides.

Runway safety management is a dynamic process that involves analyzing runway incursions, understanding the factors that contribute to runway collision risks, and taking actions to reduce these risks.

Runway safety is a shared responsibility among pilots, controllers and vehicle operators.  Proper communication, coordination and training are vital to keep airport operations safe.  Featured speakers from BGM Air Traffic Controller will sharpen our skills and teach us about the new taxi phraseology.  Hearing it from ATC will provide an opportunity to understand their perspective. We will all discuss what we can do to improve safety at this meeting!
