Driving - enter airport at south side of FBO building at new motorized gate. Gate will be manned from 09:45 until 10:10 to allow for entrance of persons who do not have the gate security code. Flying in - taxi to south east corner of airport and park.

Please join me in thanking the EAA chapter 157 for their 41st consecutive hosting of the monthly Second Saturday Safety Event at Benton airport. They provide the chairs, LCD projector, arrange for lunch, PA system and the tables. Thanks also to the Redding Jet Center for the donation of the speakers podium and to the Tres Amigos Flying club for the use of the hangar.
It is believed that the safety event held each month at Benton airport is the longest running consecutive monthly safety event in the nation since the inception of the new FAA Safety Team concept.
