Air Salvage of Dallas (ASOD) would like to invite Pilots and Mechanics to the First Annual "Legal but Fatal" Safety Seminar series. Mr. Lucky Louque, 2009 Aviation Maintenance Technician of the Year, Manager of Air Salvage of Dallas and FAASTeam Representative. Mr. Paul B. Camp, owner of Air Salvage of Dallas and former DPE Comm. Multi Inst with over 8000 hours will be taking you on a tour of ASOD's actual bone yard. There will be an interactive discussion of five different supposedly "Legal" aircraft and their pilots involved in accidents and their causal factors.The main subject areas will be human factors, Maintenance related, Aeronautical Decision Making, Pre-flight Planning and Medical factors. There will be plenty of time to ask questions related to each accident.
The event will last from 9:00am to approximately 2:00pm, lunch will be served from noon to 1:00pm courtesy of ASOD.
Absolutely no cameras will be allowed in the yard during the discussions. Anyone caught with any type of photo device will be escorted to the front door and will be required to delete pictures from the device memory or surrender the film.
