Abrams Aviation Seminars and Ahart Aviation invite all area pilots, from brand new students all the way to and including flight instructors and airline pilots to attend a fun and fact filled weekend of pilot skill building.

Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm: Become the Master of Your Aircraft

Fred Abrams, nationally known aviation lecturer and humorist, veteran instrument instructor, volunteer FAASTeam Representative and former USAF KC-135 simulator operator, will share with you the techniques he has developed during more than 45 years of experience helping pilots improve their flying skills.  Learn how "weekend aviators" who put in 3000 hours a year at work so they can afford to fly their aircraft 50 to 100 hours a year, can develop skill levels comparable to professional pilots flying 800 to 1000 hours each year.  Learn how to "master your ship" in both good weather and foul.  Develop decision making skills that mitigate the risks encountered in aviation.  Discover tricks that will lessen your work load and reduce stress.  Ahart Aviation will provide an Elite PCATD for use during and after the seminar to provide an opportunity to try out some of the techniques that Fred will present during the program.

Someone once observed, "You too can walk on water...if you know where the rocks are."  By the end of Fred's seminar on Saturday, you will know how to spot the "rocks in the water."  Don't miss the opportunity to truly master the art and science of aviation.  You will marvel at the improvement in your piloting skill.  Your flying will become safer and more enjoyable for both you and your passengers.

Sunday, 9 am to 4 pm: Getting the Most From Your Weather Briefing

Better weather decision making comes from better weather knowledge and better weather briefings.  Terry Lankford's always popular Aviation Weather Seminar will help you get the most out of your weather briefings by improving your knowledge of both weather basics and the weather briefing resources available to you.  Terry is a retired Flight Service Station Enroute Flight Advisory Service Specialist, veteran flight instructor, volunteer FAASTeam Representative and author of more than a half dozen books on aviation weather, aeronautical decision making (ADM) and other important safety topics concerning general aviation.  He is often quoted by other aviation writers and teachers.

In addition to all his experience briefing pilots, flying his own Cessna 152 and 172 and later his Mooney, coast to coast and every where in between has led him to know both the briefer's job and the pilot's job better than most.  He has spent more time on both sides of the briefing phone than most of us have spent in the cockpit.  During Terry's many years with the FSS, he was the one you hoped would answer your call for weather information.

So, don't miss this opportunity to learn from the best. Learn how you can fly through the ever changing weather environment safely on purpose.  That is so much better than flying safely by accident!

These popular clinics are reasonably priced and always sell out rapidly.  For pricing information and to register, please call Abrams Aviation Seminars at (209) 928-3447 or (925) 858-5134.  If you can attend only one Safety Program this year, make this the one!  It will help you become a safer (and older) pilot.
