Join your fellow pilots in an open discussion about a major cause of aircraft accidents - Loss of Control.  Participants will identify major factors leading to loss of control, discuss why pilots sometimes fail to adequately handle these factors, and identify some practical solutions to those problems.  This is a "Stand Up for Safety" event. Statistics indicate that pilots who regularly participate in recurrent training are less likely to have an accident or violate a regulation.  Please bring a fellow pilot and thereby help spread knowledge and safety!

Directions: Flying into the event?  After landing, taxi northbound on taxiway Echo (old runway 17/35, now closed) to the end.  Park on the wide area at the north end of the taxiway before turning into the Emerson ramp.

Driving?  Take US Rte 3, the Laconia-Gilford Bypass, northbound to the end.  At the end of the Bypass (traffic light), turn left onto Rte 11 (East).  At the next traffic light, turn left onto Rte 11C.  Follow Rte 11C about 1.3 miles to Kimball Road on the right.  Follow Kimball Road to Emerson Aviation on right.

Please plan to stay after the seminar for a barbecue (donations welcome), hangar talk and get to know your fellow pilots.

Sponsored by Emerson Aviation.
