Many thanks, to the Glens Falls Pilots Association and Mr. Kim Lussier of Empire East Aviation for generously providing a place for us to meet.

How many things do you need to remember to do before you can safely go out and fly your airplane for the first time after the long winter? Depends doesn't it? Where was you airplane during the snow and ice, in a warm hanger, outside at a tie-down, in Florida? Have you flown regularly since the last of the foliage season? Yes it's not an easy question at least it's not easy to have one answer that fits all. Dick Bovey, DPE and FAASTeam Representative and Jeff Wasileski from the FAASTeam will tell you about some places to look and things to poke at around you airplane regardless of where it has spent the winter. There are enough things to think about that most of us would need a list.

Are you ready to jump into you airplane, or someone else's airplane along with two or three of the folks most important to you after the winter downtime. Maybe the "get ready list" should include making sure you're ready to. Dick and Jim Leavitt, also from the FAASTeam will add a few items for you to think about adding to that list.

Don't miss this opportunity to "get it together" and please register on line for this event to ensure that you will get your Wings credit.
