Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):
TOPIC HAS CHANGED DUE TO UNFORESEEN SCHEDULE PROBLEM
Chicago Aviation EXPO is sponsored by the Chicago Area Chapter Ninety-Nines, IDOT-Division of Aeronautics, FAA Illinois FAASTeam, FAA DuPage FSDO and the Illinois Association of Air and Critical Care Transport (IAACCT). Additional support for this event has be provided by the Northeast Pilots Association, a chapter of the Illinois Pilots Association and Bell Helicopter.
Directions from Illinois Route 53 (going either north or south):
Exit at Biesterfield Road and turn West. Proceed West to Rohlwing Road which is the first street west of Route 53. Turn right (South) onto Rohlwing Road and continue south past Thorndale to Irving Park Road (Illinois 19). There is a traffic signal at Irving Park Road. Turn left (West) on to Irving Park Road. The Holiday Inn will be just ahead on the south side of the street. If the parking lot fills up at the Holiday Inn, additional parking is available in the Anacomp lot in the office complex just west of the Holiday Inn.
Note: looking at Google maps, the exit from Route 53 at Thorndale may look like a closer option, but no left turn is allowed onto Rohlwing Road there - instead one must follow a long, out of the way route to access Rohlwing Road - hence the suggestion of using Biesterfield Road.

The Vendor Exhibit Room will be open from 8:00 AM until 2:30 PM. Exhibitors include the FAA FAASTeam, Bell Helicopter, IAACCT, helicopter manufacturers, glider clubs, flight schools and others. Vendor inquires are invited.
